Flower of the Day: Water Lily

Here is my photo for the Flower of the Day photo challenge.  This picture was captured in July after a light rain and I love how you can see the water droplets on the petals.  This hardy Water Lily bloomed for many days on the surface of the pond this summer  and it will overwinter, along with the goldfish, under the snow and ice this winter to flourish again next year.
